Michael Ionescu is a junior engineer, lawyer and patent agent. He specializes in mechanical engineering and his practice includes the preparation and prosecution of domestic, U.S. and foreign patents as well as industrial designs. He additionally specializes in the patentablity assessment of new technologies and the management of existing patent portfolios. Michael further has experience in preparing patent infringement and validity opinions in Canada and the United States.
Intellectual property allows him to combine his passions for engineering, entrepreneurship and law. He is dedicated to working with companies in order to bring their ideas to market while providing them with the protection that intellectual property rights offer. Michael Ionescu is valued for his collaborative and detail-oriented approach.
During his studies, Michael was part of a research group on computational fluid dynamics and, in particular, far-field approximations of aerodynamic drag.
