Marielle Doyon specializes in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications and in providing validity, infringement, freedom to operate and patentability opinions, particularly in the field of chemical engineering and life sciences.

She completed a chemical engineering degree from Université Laval in 2004. She was awarded a Master’s degree and a Doctorate’s degree in Pharmacology from Université de Montréal in 2008 and 2014, respectively. Her research focused on smooth muscle cell apoptosis induced by specific classes of antihypertensive drugs, and on the implication of the matrix Gla protein in the development of systolic hypertension in patients with type 1 diabetes.
