Virginie is part of the Business Law and Emerging Technologies Group at ROBIC. As a lawyer and trademark agent, she stands out for her ability to combine legal rigor with a deep understanding of business realities.
Her practice focuses on all aspects of intellectual property related to commercial transactions and the drafting and negotiation of complex agreements. She works closely with her clients to develop tailored strategies for protecting, managing and leveraging their data and intellectual property assets. She is also involved in matters relating to trademarks and personal data protection. Eager to share her knowledge, Virginie has published in the Développements récents en propriété intellectuelle of the Barreau du Québec and the Cahiers de propriété intellectuelle, and regularly offers courses, lectures, panels, workshops and training sessions to a variety of audiences, namely within the tech start-up community.
Virginie is also a wine professional, graduate of the Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ). She hosts a wine podcast called Vintuitu Personae, whose second season is entirely dedicated to wine law.
Virginie joined the ROBIC team in 2021, after having practiced at a boutique firm recognized for its expertise in business law, intellectual property, and technology.
