Tara D’aigle-Curley is a lawyer specializing in privacy, access to information and information technology issues. She is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
Before joining our team, Tara was based at a major financial institution where she helped plan, implement and operate a comprehensive and innovative privacy program. Her duties included drafting frameworks and policies, responding to privacy incidents, responding to regulatory investigations and audits, developing a monitoring program, establishing metrics, and advising the organization on complex privacy issues.
She has also worked with a public service organization in the area of privacy.
Tara holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and is currently completing a Master of Laws (LL.M) at Université Laval. While in law school, she participated in the Laskin Moot Court Competition, where her team won 4th place and she personally ranked as the 13th best litigator.
Prior to law school, Tara worked for Canadian retailers for ten years, including as a buyer and product developer.
