Jules Gaudin specializes in Information Technology law. He assists and advises companies on issues related to intellectual property law, regulatory and commercial issues. With a strong interest and expertise in new technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence, he assists his clients on emerging legislative and regulatory issues. He also practises in the areas of personal data protection, domain name management, commercial arbitration and open source licensing.

Before joining the firm, Jules developed expertise in European and international law in the field of business law, commercial arbitration and intellectual property within French firms through the support of international companies.

Involved in mentoring and consulting roles in international entrepreneurship competitions and in Montreal incubators for technology start-ups, he is regularly called upon to participate as a speaker or judge in university meetings and competitions in international law.

Jules joined ROBIC after articling with the firm. He has also been a research assistant in technology law (artificial intelligence and blockchain) at the Cyberjustice Laboratory of the Université de Montréal.
