Isabelle Girard specializes in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications and the providing of opinions in the field of physical sciences such as photonics, lasers, optical telecommunications, condensed matter physics and semiconductor physics. In addition to the drafting and prosecution of patent applications, Isabelle Girard also acts as a strategic patent portfolio adviser for her clients.
Isabelle Girard joined ROBIC in 1997 and was appointed as partner in 2006. At the firm, she is a member of several committees and involved in the mentoring of patent professionals. She is also a Past President of the Association of Intellectual Property Firms (AIPF) and is still an active member of this association.
