The hype surrounding artificial intelligence (AI) is undeniable. Rare are the weeks when nothing is said on the subject, particularly since the emergence of ChatGPT. Nevertheless, artificial intelligence brings its share of challenges. It also raises ethical and legal issues, particularly in terms of copyright. In this webinar, we will discuss the copyright issues raised by generative AI systems such as ChatGPT. More specifically: is it permissible to use works to train an algorithm? Who owns the rights to material produced with an AI system?
