ROBIC welcomes 3D printing enthusiasts

2015-04-30
On April 23rd, ROBIC welcomed the 3D Printing Montreal Meetup group for its monthly meeting. This group brings together professionals, students, and businessmen that are all passionate about 3D printing. Two presentations were given during that evening, the first one was by Adam Mizera, Marcel Naud and Julien Perron-Piché, from ROBIC, and it debunked five myths about intellectual property. It specifically tackled the issues with software licences and different forms of branding in that particular field. The second presentation was about the traceability and the security of computer files linked to 3D printing. Jérémie Farret, technical director at P4BUS Systems, presented his work and some future prospects concerning that matter.
