Vincent Bergeron specializes in copyright, trademarks, patents, technology transfer and information technology. He is also involved in entertainment and business law. Vincent Bergeron counsels clients in the protection and enforcement of intellectual property assets related to information technology. He is also involved in negotiating and drafting commercial contracts such as licences, assignments and distribution agreements. His practice also includes litigation and the protection of intellectual property assets in general.

Vincent Bergeron has practiced at a national intellectual property firm in Québec city, before joining ROBIC at the opening of the Quebec office. Before practicing law, he also founded and operated a branding and information technology business.Author of multiple publications and conferences, Vincent Bergeron has been invited as a speaker by multiple organizations, institutions and associations, including by the Conseil de la magistrature du Québec (Quebec Judicial Council), Canadian Bar Association, Quebec Bar, AIPF (Association of Intellectual Property Firms), the Legal.IT Conference, the Web à Quebec (WAQ) Conference, Centre d’Etude en Droit Economique (CEDE), the Licensing Executives Society and the Laval University.

In 2015, Vincent Bergeron was awarded the “Prix de reconnaissance” by the Quebec Young Bar Association, after receiving the Lieutenant Governor Homage Prize presented by the Quebec Bar in 2010 and the Lieutenant Governor’s Youth Medal in 2009. Vincent Bergeron has been the President of the Laval University Law Students Association in 2008-2009, while also appearing on the Roll of Honour of Laval University Faculty of Law’s dean. Vincent Bergeron is also actively involved in multiple associations and organizations, such as Vice-President of the Information, Telecommunication and Intellectual Property section of the Canadian Bar Association (ABC), Quebec division, as well as a member of the executive committee of the Licensing Executives Society (L.E.S. USA & Canada), Quebec City Chapter.

Vincent Bergeron has also been Vice-President of the Jeune Chambre de Commerce de Québec (JCCQ) in 2013-2014 and is one of the cofounders and SM40 Ambassadors of the crowdfunding platform La Ruche, which contributes to the influence and vitality of Quebec City.
