Monthly meeting of the Meetup Group Montreal 3D printing
On November 27, ROBIC held the monthly meeting of the 3D printing Montreal Meetup Group. This group brings together professionals, students and entrepreneurs, all 3D printing enthusiasts. During the meeting, three presentations were offered to the participants.
Louis-Pierre Gravelle, Adam Mizera and Julien Perron-Piché, of the firm ROBIC, presented the different intellectual property rights and the consequences of the democratization of 3D printing on these rights.
The second presentation focused on the latest developments in 3D printing in the field of pastry. Sami Péan came to present the state of the work carried out with ADI Team and the challenges it faces in its projects.
Finally, Keroles Riad presented his research topic as part of his Masters in Materials Science at Concordia University. The results of his basic research will have an impact on the realization of metal parts made by 3D printing.
