Three representatives from ROBIC at the Annual Meeting of the AIPF

Isabelle Girard, Alexandra Steele and Catherine Bergeron attended the Annual Meeting of the Association of Intellectual Property Firms (AIPF) held in Washington, D.C. on September 29 and 30, 2014.

At the event, Catherine Bergeron participated in a panel of international experts on the issue of non-traditional trademarks. The panelists presented a comparative overview of the protection afforded to non-traditional trademarks in various countries (Canada, Australia, Japan, United States, Europe), including three-dimensional trademarks, trade dress, moving images, colors, sounds, scents, tastes, textures, etc.
 
The AIPF is an international association of independent specialty law firms that devote a majority of their practice to intellectual property.
