ROBIC Contributes to the JurisClasseur Quebec – Intellectual Property
Lexis Nexis called on our team of experienced lawyers and patent agents to assist with the drafting of the Intellectual Property portion of its well-respected reference tool on Quebec and Canadian law entitled JurisClasseur Québec. The book was launched at the end of December 2012.
Robic trade-mark lawyers contributed four of the seven sections pertaining to trademark law, including:
– Administrative Treatment of a Trademark: registration and priority bases, by Laurent Carrière
– Exclusive Use, by Alexandra Steele and Barry Gamache
– Confusion, by Barry Gamache
– Radiation and invalidation of a trademark registration, by Catherine Bergeron
On the patent front, Lexis Nexis turned to our patent agents and lawyers Louis-Pierre Gravelle and A. Sasha Mandy to address the criterion of novelty as it applies to patents.
The firm is honored to have been chosen to contribute to this excellent reference tool.
